St Luke’s Primary school: uniform requirements

Please ensure your child wears the correct uniform and has their PE kit and necessary equipment in school at all times.

Our school uniform gives children a pride in their personal appearance and cultivates a sense of belonging to the school. 

Uniform supplier – CJI Clothing,  Moordown.

All children, all years (from YR to Y6):

-          White shirt (short or long sleeved)

-          Dark grey trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore

-          Navy jumper or cardigan with school logo

-          Navy and gold school tie

-          Grey socks or tights

-          Any hair accessories must be small and in line with school colours (grey, navy, gold). No dyed hair.

-          Black shoes 

 

Summer option – after Easter break

Summer Dress - blue check

                       

PE Kit (can be worn to school on PE days):

-          Light blue polo shirt with school logo

-          Navy shorts

-          Navy track suit trousers/ jogging bottoms

-          Trainers (or plimsolls)

-          Optional: Navy hoodie with school logo (can have initials on). If children do not have a school hoodie then they can wear their school jumper/cardigan.

                       

Jewellery

Jewellery must not be worn to school, with the exception of earrings.  If your child has pierced ears then only one pair of studs may be worn in ear lobes to avoid any personal injury.  Please can any new piercing occur at the beginning of the summer holidays to give it time to heal as all items of jewellery will need to be removed for all PE and games lessons.  It is also recommended that children should not wear expensive watches to school.

Long Hair / Fashion Accessories

All hair at or below shoulder length must be tied back at all times in school. Please can you also ensure that any hair dye or temporary / glitter tattoos and nail varnish are removed for school.

The PTFA hold second hand uniform sales regularly (usually once per term) where good quality, second hand uniform is sold.
